EdgeFill: refined edges
One seamless finish, from edge to edge. A water-based, fast-drying filler for the industrial filling and levelling of the sawn edges of particleboard and lightweight particleboard.
A smooth, stable edge
on a porous board
Particleboard is naturally porous, with larger cavities at the sawn edge. EdgeFill fills and levels them, and creates a smooth, stable and well-adhering edge. Edge bands get a better, more even base and can be thinner. On fully lacquered panels, surface and edge are finished without a visible transition.

Particleboard instead of MDF
Particleboard can replace MDF, potentially reducing the cost of the finished product. Lightweight particleboard can reduce material costs further. Its lower density and more porous sawn edge need edge filling to create a good base for edge banding. That is exactly what EdgeFill does.
Material cost: lower from top to bottom.
Good to know. EdgeFill is not a structural adhesive. It stabilises and upgrades the sawn edge; it does not reinforce the panel.
