Sand to a homogeneous face
Sanding exposes a mixed surface of wood and filler, the two must sand at a comparable rate to avoid waviness.
Coat as a design surface
With a level, homogeneous face, OSB takes lacquer or oil as a design material, keeping its character without the roughness.
